Why we created 'The English Fast Facts Broadcast.'

Reason number 1:

It has been observed that, no matter the level, listening to and reading aloud, a small piece of English text each day, reaps big results. It's like a muscle. If you use it every day, it stays strong but if you don't, it will atrophy. Even high level English speakers notice that if they haven't had a conversation in English for a while, it takes them a few minutes for their brain and tongue to get into a comfortable rhythm again. 

This little 2 minute Fast Fact series is designed to keep your English muscle strong and ready for use at any time. Reading aloud while listening is all you need to do. How does your English life get easier than that? :-) 

Reason number 2:

Lack of time is a common complaint among busy executives. Without a 'tool' on hand, even things you like or want to do, can get buried beneath the mass of other things in your agenda. Have you ever watched  a movie where a very successful (and busy) person has a golf club prominent in his office, so that he can grab 2 minutes of putting practice between appointments? 

You probably thought it was for him to relax. Actually, this man has learned the power of a '2 minute tool' to maintain his golf handicap.

During years of supporting Spanish executives, many have remarked  that they are fine talking in English about their work, but immediately become uncomfortable when having to converse in a social setting, such as a coffee break or at dinner after a business meeting.

The daily text audio has helped me to keep English fresh in my mind every day, especially since I am no longer in an English environment for almost 2 years now. It helps a lot to never forget continue thinking in English, something it is easily forgotten when you leave a native-speaking environment. On the other hand, it also helps a lot with correct pronunciation, as you might easily fall into the mannerism of mispronouncing some words simply because it sounds well.
